The ISPM-15 mark is a standardized stamp that must include four elements: the IPPC two-leaf logo, the ISO country code (e.g., US), a unique treatment provider ID assigned by the national plant protection organization, and the treatment-method code — HT for heat treatment, or DB if the wood was also debarked. This mark certifies the pallet meets international phytosanitary requirements.

Over 180 countries enforce ISPM-15 requirements, including all EU member states, Canada, China, Mexico, Brazil, India, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.
